Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain computer-controlled systems and robotic devices to maximize efficiency.

• Determine if issues are electrical or mechanical from PLC or schematics and repair components as needed.
• Diagnose issues and guide others in corrections; repair or replace sensors, cabling, motors, wiring as required.
• Use Auto-Cad and Inventor to maintain and update automation drawings.
• Train operators when changes are made to automation systems.
• Review and understand PLC programming.

Location: Onsite- Sheridan, AR

Competitive Compensation

Starting at $24.25 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Shifts Needed: Red 2 (2/2/3 5:48pm - 06:00am)

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within the facility to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency.
• Duties require knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computers.
• Technicians are to perform routine checks on automated systems, monitor systems, and isolate problems and perform repair.
• When problems occur, technicians are to determine if problem is electrical or mechanical from the computer system controlling the processor or schematics associated with equipment.
• Once issue is diagnosed, the technician must repair or replace any necessary components, such as sensors, cabling, valves, motors, or electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot and correct problems by making mechanical adjustments and/or guiding others in those corrections.
• Using Auto-Cad and inventor Software you must maintain, modify, and update drawings when changes are made within the Automation systems.
• Train operators when changes are made within the Automaton systems
• Review and understand programmable logic controller (PLC) programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Robotics and PLC controllers.
• Knowledge of Auto-Cad and Inventor Software
• SAP knowledge is preferred – pick tickets, labels, etc.
• Ability to lift over 40 pounds over shoulders
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds to waist level with aids (hoist)

The hourly range for this position is $24.25 - 26.50. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
