Job summary

Kohler Co. Sheridan, AR is hiring technicians to repair and maintain automated systems and robotics in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll work onsite in Sheridan, perform routine checks, diagnose issues, and upgrade drawings using Auto-Cad and Inventor while training operators on system changes. The role requires knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computers, strong teamwork, lifting up to 50 lbs with aids, and compliance with safety policies.

Competitive Compensation: Starting at $24.25 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour for night shifts.

Shifts Needed: Red 2 (2/2/3 5:48pm - 06:00am)

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within the facility to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency.
• Duties require knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computers.
• T echnicians are to perform routine checks on automated systems, monitor systems, and isolate problems and perform repair.
• When problems occur, technicians are to determine if problem is electrical or mechanical from the computer system controlling the processor or schematics associated with equipment.
• Once issue is diagnosed, the technician must repair or replace any necessary components, such as sensors, cabling, valves, motors, or electrical wiring.
• Troubleshoot and correct problems by making mechanical adjustments and/or guiding others in those corrections.
• Using Auto-Cad and inventor Software you must maintain, modify, and update drawings when changes are made within the Automation systems.
• Train operators when changes are made within the Automaton systems
• Review and understand programmable logic controller (PLC) programming.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Robotics and PLC controllers.
• Knowledge of Auto-Cad and Inventor Software
• SAP knowledge is preferred - pick tickets, labels, etc.
• Ability to lift over 40 pounds over shoulders
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds to waist level with aids (hoist)

The hourly range for this position is $24.25 - 26.50. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
