Job summary

Technimark is hiring for a full-time position in Asheville, NC where the ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities include enrolling in a Maintenance Apprenticeship Program and learning various equipment involved in manufacturing processes.

The role requires good communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot and read technical schematics, and ownership of necessary tools. Knowledge of PLC-controlled machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll in and/or complete the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.

• Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.

High school diploma or GED. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Ability to learn injection molding equipment, assembly processes, auxiliary equipment, decorating equipment, robots, and automation equipment. Commitment to enroll in and/or completion of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program. Must possess own tools for use on the job. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience. Must be able to troubleshoot complex servo driven systems, vacuum circuits, and read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of PLC controlled machines is preferred.
