Working with our innovative engineering team, you'll help bring medicines to the world faster by imagining what’s possible and taking action.

What You Will Achieve

You will play a critical role in managing maintenance and reliability engineering activities, including redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and equipment. Recognized as a subject matter expert, you will adapt standard methods and procedures, applying your knowledge and experience. Your business awareness will help improve project delivery and project quality. You will decide on the best methods for work situations, train others, and help us provide the best healthcare to our patients.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Perform maintenance, changeovers, adjustments, and repairs of equipment and facilities.
  • Participate in multicraft work activities as required.
  • Assess priorities and make decisions related to troubleshooting and proactive maintenance.
  • Participate in safety training and use tools and equipment safely.
  • Read and follow schematics, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Use electrical testing equipment safely.
  • Recommend improvements for machine performance.
  • Follow SOPs and GMP requirements.
  • Provide training on systems in compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to team performance assessments.
  • Manage time, professional development, and results.
  • Prioritize workflow, lead, and allocate work as needed.
Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4-6 years troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs/DCSs
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of automation platforms like SCADA, data storage, and control systems
  • Ability to connect to control systems, troubleshoot logic, and perform system backups

Nice-to-Have

  • Electrical or engineering associates degree or license
  • Experience in GMP environments and pharma utility systems
Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Exposed to hazardous materials, heights, temperature extremes, and heavy lifting. Must maintain aseptic gowning qualification and be able to work in clean rooms.

Work Schedule and Travel

Rotating 8-day on, 6-day off schedule on 3rd shift. Overtime may be required. Relocation support available.

Additional Information

Salary ranges from $27.41 to $45.69/hour, with eligibility for overtime and benefits including 401(k), health coverage, paid leave, and more. Details at Pfizer Candidate Site.
