Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with overtime as required.This role is essential in supporting production operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced automated systems and robotics equipment throughout the warehouse, ensuring minimal downtime and safe efficient operation of automation systems. **Overview Of Role:**The Logistics Facilities Automation Technician is responsible for the advanced maintenance, repair, and operation of all facility systems and equipment in a logistics warehouse environment. This position involves performing routine preventative & corrective maintenance troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, controls automation, and general facilities tasks. The technician will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize systems to ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely. Additionally, Logistics Facilities Automation Technician will mentor Maintenance Team Members, assist in driving maintenance projects, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. **Core Competencies:*** Advanced Robotic, Mechanical and Electrical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical with the ability to perform more complex repairs and troubleshooting.* Problem solving & Troubleshooting: Ability to efficiently identify and resolve complex maintenance issues.* Time Management & Organization: Skill in managing multiple maintenance tasks while ensuring minimal of upgrades or modifications.* Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including handling hazardous material and waste disposal.* Participate in root cause analysis and recommend system improvements to reduce reoccurring issues and enhance efficiency.* Assist in managing external contractors or service providers for specialized maintenance tasks. **Required Qualifications:*** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in a logistics warehouse, or industrial environment.* Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and preferred.* Certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance.* Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (E- Maintenance)* Knowledge of safety standards such as NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, and other relevant procedures,* Experience working with building automation systems, control systems, and industrial machinery.* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership
