Job description

Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for Automation Technicians to monitor the status of the robots that produce and package baked goods.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Monitors robots to ensure they are working properly and respond to issues as they arise.
  • Schedule maintenance on the robots per procedures.
  • Performs safety checks on equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Performs and consistently complies with the processes, policies, and procedures.
Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of geometrical coordinates systems.
  • Understanding of electricity: voltage vs current etc.
  • Understanding of electrical and electronic devices and how they operate: ex: relays, encoders, MPCB, VFD, and contactors.
  • Understands how to use a multimeter and able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Understanding of PLC and CPU controllers.
  • Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
  • Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds.
