Job summary

Actalent is seeking an intermediate-level technician to configure, operate, and troubleshoot automated production equipment at the Akron site. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, maintaining performance, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years with automated equipment, PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens), HMIs, and blueprints. Robotics experience is a plus; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline preferred (Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or similar).
• 2+ years of experience with automated or industrial equipment preferred.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and control systems required.
• Robotics experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints required.
• Knowledge of IPC 620, wire processing, USCAR, and IATF is preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Akron, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
