Job summary

Novolex is seeking an Automation Technician to support thermoforming and extrusion processes. The role requires troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on automation equipment, with on-call flexibility and mobility in tight spaces.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of automation experience, strong electrical/PLC skills, and a background in mechanical systems. This is a full-time on-site position with a 7:00a–7:00p 2,2,3 shift schedule.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalency required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years automation technician experience in thermoforming and extrusion.
• Strong electrical, PLC programming and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and on ladders/platforms.
• On-call and flexible scheduling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic troubleshooting and maintenance on automation equipment.
• Performs maintenance, setup and PM on automation equipment in Thermoforming and Extrusion.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment related processing issues.
• On-call as needed by department and able to be flexible with schedule.
• Must possess the ability to work in tight spaces and on ladders/platforms.
