Job summary

Amgen in North Carolina seeks a Manufacturing Systems Engineer: Automation - DeltaV to join the Facilities & Engineering Automation team. You will build and maintain DeltaV based process controls across the GMP Drug Substance Plant operations.

You will collaborate with capital projects, ensure QA validation, documentation, and regulatory compliance while advancing automation capabilities and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• Experience with GMP biopharma environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and standards.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DeltaV control systems for drug substance plant.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture process requirements.
• Document solutions and validate in GxP environment.
• Support commissioning and vendor FAT activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and safety compliance.
