Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a dedicated systems designer to produce highly detailed installation diagrams for data center automation and monitoring systems. The role supports the central engineering team in design and implementation of strategic projects globally, communicating design changes and coordinating with customers, consultants and field teams.

The Systems Designer works under the Hardware Engineering Manager, performing complex duties in project design and management, with

Qualifications

• Read and interpret customer specification packages to determine design factors such as size, shape, construction materials, functionality, etc.
• Create Mechanical and Electrical System models with engineering team.
• Develop layouts, detailed design drawings, and diagrams for Mechanical and Electrical Systems (enclosures, conduit, cabling, onelines, building layouts).
• Draft detailed multi-view drawings of parts, sub-assemblies, and installation details.
• Assure the accuracy and completeness of drawings, BOMs, files and records for assigned projects.
• Coordinate equipment submittals for connection details and compatibility with design requirements.
• Analyze designs for compliance with standards (OSHA, CE, or customer specifics).
• Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Communicate design changes to the Engineering Group Leader.
• Supervise system design tasks on a project level when needed.
• Organize documentation such as quotes, drawing registers and schedules.
