Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Automation Support Specialist for the East Peoria, IL area. This contract position focuses on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and user support for automated equipment and robotics systems.

You will coordinate with operations and technical teams to resolve disruptions, monitor performance, and assist with new technology deployments while training end users on best practices.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in automation, robotics, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting automated equipment and control systems.
• Familiarity with industrial software applications and PLC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment, software and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor system health, perform preventative maintenance, and document actions taken.
• Assist with deployment and adoption of new technologies in the facility.
• Train end users on system functionality and best practices.
