Job summary

Werner Electric Supply is offering an internship program in Appleton, WI. Gain hands-on experience with Automation Specialists providing product and technical support.

We offer executive mentorship, Lean Six Sigma training, and certification, plus networking events. Interns work on real projects, with potential for year-long internships or full-time roles after graduation, and compensation up to $19 per hour depending on college year.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Previous technical support or customer service experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of industrial controls, sensors, safety products, and automation products.

Responsibilities

• Attend training classes (classroom setup, teacher’s aid).
• Assist Technical Support Specialist with projects, lab setup and cleanup, locating demos.
• Attend customer events such as Counters Days and technical presentations.
• Perform lab equipment demo inventory.
• Order literature.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Timeline and Expectations

Werner will be posting the internship positions starting in late September which will run through the end of November. We will be selecting candidates to move forward with from HR phone screen to virtual hiring manager interview during this time.
