Job summary

Rose International is seeking a versatile Automation Specialist to advance CIVM automation within the CiS Laboratory, supporting Development Sciences, Research, and Translational Medicine. The role focuses on automating CIVM culture, assays, and data workflows in a cross-functional team.

You will translate manual processes into automated workflows, qualify systems, and contribute to data integration while training colleagues in Python and AI tools for biology applications.

Qualifications

• Masters degree with 4-6 years in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomaterials, immunology, pharmacology, cellular or molecular biology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
• PhD with 0-3 years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pioneer automation of CIVM culture and assays in a dynamic team.
• Translate manual cell culture and assay processes to automated workflows, including programming and testing.
• Qualify and execute automated CIVM culture and assays on the integrated liquid handling system.
• Perform maintenance and dry tests to ensure readiness and sterility of automation platforms.
• Drive data management, analysis pipelines, and data automation with stakeholders.
• Team training on Python development practices and AI tool integration for biology.
• Document processes with SOPs and share capabilities via presentations and lab tours.
