B&G Foods, Inc. is seeking an Automation Specialist in Ankeny, Iowa. This role involves providing technical support for troubleshooting electrical and control systems, overseeing maintenance projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in Electrical studies or 5 years of experience, along with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. They will assist in developing electrical skills within the maintenance department and ensure standardized controls across production areas.

The purpose of this position is to provide technical support in the troubleshooting of electrical and control systems and machinery throughout the facility. Design, modify and upgrade electrical control systems. Additionally, assist in the development of electrical skills in our maintenance department inclusive of maintaining documentation as directed. Perform other tasks as directed.
Associates degree in electrical related studies or 5 years’ experience.
PC Literacy. Electrical power, control, and PLC diagnostic skills.
Minimum Formal Education: Associate Degree
