Job summary

IGT is seeking a Software Engineer – Automation to join the Game Technology team. The role focuses on CI/CD, DevOps enablement, cloud support, and optimizing the Ascent build process to support scalable game development and testing workflows.

The successful candidate will design and maintain pipelines, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable release operations and continuous improvement across systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Strong background in DevOps practices and tooling.
Experience with build systems and release management.
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, C#).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for scalable build and release processes across game development teams.
Drive DevOps best practices, enabling automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Support and enhance cloud-based automation infrastructure for high availability and performance.
Contribute to and evolve the Ascent build process for speed and stability.
Collaborate with Game Test teams, build coordinators, and product teams to align automation solutions.
