Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Software Application Development Engineer to design and deliver software for advanced factory automation and manufacturing processes. You will develop frontend and backend applications, ensure performance and scalability, and support deployment and post‑deployment activities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

The role focuses on building scalable GenAI and automation solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and driving software quality through

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or higher in CS/CE or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 3+ years, or PhD.
Proficiency in C#/.NET and Python with modern libraries and Angular/React.
Experience with VS Code, GitHub, Jira for software development.
Experience with databases (SQL) or VectorDB.
1+ year with Kubernetes and Docker container solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and test software applications for manufacturing systems.
Design and optimize automation solutions to improve factory performance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Perform unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing to ensure quality.
Automate builds and deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
Support post‑deployment issues and update documentation.
Leverage GenAI platforms to enhance automation and decision‑making.
