Schneider Electric Lincoln, United States, is seeking an Automation Setup professional to set up, maintain, and repair complex metal forming equipment used in our manufacturing processes.

This role emphasizes routine maintenance, SPC-driven adjustments, and safe operation with minimal supervision. You will read blueprints, set dies, track production, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, compliant work area.

Competenze

• GED or High School diploma required.
• Ability to pass a skills assessment test on reading/writing comprehension, math, and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring instruments.
• Ability to work safely, use good judgment, and work well around others.
• Ability to use standard mechanics tools.
• Ability to read, write and count to track inventory.
• Must be able to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to enter data into a computer.

Mansioni

• Reads and understands blueprints and visualizes parts in 3D; performs machine set-up and adjustment.
• Sets dies and forms to part specifications using blueprints, machine specs, and SPC requirements.
• Maintains a clean area per 5S and ensures waste handling compliance.
• Maintains understanding of basic parts and working components of automated forming machines and dies.
• Tracks production counts, troubleshoots problems, and uses SPC to adjust machinery.
