Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an experienced automation engineer to design, develop, and deploy automated laboratory workflows on liquid-handling platforms. You will partner with scientists and stakeholders to translate goals into scalable automation and perform rigorous data quality control.

You will develop and integrate instrument, software, and data systems for end-to-end workflows and troubleshoot equipment to minimise downtime, contributing to high-throughput, reliable processes that

Qualifications

Experience in customer-facing roles with executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies.
Experience translating business needs into solutions.
Strong problem solving for ambiguous challenges.
Experience with automation, testing, or monitoring framework development.
Excellent written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Bachelor's degree in a life science with 10+ years, or Master's with 6+ years.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy automated laboratory workflows on liquid-handling platforms from concept to release.
Collaborate with scientists and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into automation solutions.
Perform data quality control, document results, and clearly communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
Develop and integrate instrument, software, and data systems for end-to-end workflows.
Identify, troubleshoot, and uplift equipment malfunctions to minimise downtime.
