Cardinal Staffing Services is seeking an Engineering Technician for a Toledo, OH automotive manufacturing facility. The role provides engineering support to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals, and drives continuous improvement of processes.

The position is 2nd shift (4 PM–12 AM) with overtime expected. Starting pay rate is $35.30 per hour. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering background and hands-on experience with automation equipment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with automation equipment is a plus.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with ability to multitask under pressure.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed to meet tasks.
• Travel may be required (<5%).
• Further technical education in related field encouraged for growth.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots assembly equipment and components to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Provides wall-to-wall technical support to assembly equipment and test machines.
• Identifies and implements engineering improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve cycle times.
• Works with maintenance/engineering to facilitate equipment repairs.
• Supports cross-functional teams to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Daily collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Materials, Operations, and Program Management.
