Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
3+ years in automation/robotics, controls, or equipment integration.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
Ability to translate scientific workflow constraints into safe, maintainable machinery.
Experience with interface design, FAT/SAT/UAT, and vendor follow-ups.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy robotic workcells, transfer stations, and automated peripherals.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic, and control issues with cross-functional teams.
Support safety, recovery, and validation activities including FAT/SAT.
Collaborate with vendors and lab automation scientists to ensure robust system performance.
