Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking an Automation Controls Technician to design, program, maintain, and optimize automated and robotic systems on the Perry, GA plant floor. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to implement new technology and improve equipment capability.

This role is onsite at Harvest facility in Perry, GA, on 3rd shift, 6:00pm–6:00am. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial automation with PLCs, HMIs, and robotics, plus strong problem-solving and maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• .8+ years in industrial automation, controls, PLCs, troubleshooting; food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong PLC, HMI, robotics and industrial control systems knowledge.
• CAP Certification or related certifications are advantageous.
• Fanuc CSE/Master Certification preferred; Fanuc Robotics toolset familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot automated control systems on the manufacturing floor.
• Maintain and optimize automation and robotic systems to boost uptime.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on automated/robotic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document changes to systems.
