Job summary

The position requires an Associate’s degree or Journeyman status, 2–3 years of electrical and automation/robotics experience, and at least 3 years of teaching. Strong communication skills are essential; the role is exempt and paid per contact hour in 2026 rates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 4,000 hours of documented work experience OR, Journeyman status.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, and knowledge of electrical for industrial applications, motor controls, PLCs, hydraulics, fluid power, and pneumatics
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, and knowledge of automation and robotics
• Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver Instruction: Conduct assigned classes and/or labs; Prepare lessons; Provide course syllabus with grading standards, attendance policies, and contact information; Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets.
• Evaluate Student Progress: Keep accurate records of student performance; Provide timely feedback.
• Provide Student Assistance: Refer students to support services; Accommodate special needs students.
