Job summary

ArtiFlex Automation is seeking an Automation Quote Engineer / Applications Engineer to translate customer needs into automated concepts and create detailed cost estimates for custom systems. You will participate in technical discussions with customers and help lead the development of proposals.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Program Management, and Purchasing to ensure competitive, technically sound bids and drive successful project quotes from concept to final proposal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering experience required.
• Experience in industrial automation, robotics, and systems integration.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and automation design documents.
• Knowledge of cost estimation methods and cycle-time analysis.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into automation concepts and feasibility studies.
• Lead or participate in customer meetings and technical reviews.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for customized automated systems.
• Create comprehensive quoting packages with scope and assumptions.
• Perform cycle-time analysis, MTM evaluations, and throughput modeling.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Program Management, and Purchasing to ensure competitive proposals.
• Support bid reviews and ensure alignment with technical and commercial goals.
• Provide technical insights to support customer relationships and proposals.
