Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to automate and validate our web and backend systems.

You will collaborate with engineering and business teams to raise product quality, expand test coverage, and reduce defects across releases. You will build and maintain automated test suites, contribute to test frameworks, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and REST API testing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in test automation and software quality assurance.
• Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test requirements and coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects effectively.
• Maintain documentation for test cases, scripts, and automation processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
• High levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
