Job summary

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Software Development/Implementation professional for the Operation Support Center in Columbus. You will write and maintain automated test scripts for web, API and enterprise applications, and enhance automation frameworks using Microsoft technologies and QA tools.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), perform manual testing, troubleshoot failures with developers and DevOps, and

Qualifications

• 36 months combined work experience in developing/modifying programs, testing and debugging, and assisting with analysis and design including 12 months in the primary technology listed.
• Associate degree in CS or information systems or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• Undergraduate core program in CS or information systems or equivalent with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write and maintain automated test scripts for web, API and enterprise applications.
• Enhance reusable automation frameworks using Microsoft/ .NET technologies and QA tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
• Create data-driven and keyword-driven automation solutions to streamline testing processes.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Execute automated regression and smoke test suites; analyze automation results and troubleshoot failures.
