Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own the automated testing ecosystem for the Circuit platform. The role focuses on automated regression, E2E and API testing, integrated CI/CD, and AI-driven test automation to ensure reliability and performance.

You will build scalable test frameworks, leverage AI-assisted coding tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality software across releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/AI/related field.
• 4+ years in test automation and regression framework development.
• Experience with Playwright for E2E/UI automation and/or Python Pytest; Selenium familiarity.
• REST API testing experience; GraphQL testing a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain automated regression and E2E test suites for the Circuit platform.
• Design and automate REST and GraphQL API tests including AI/model endpoints.
• Plan and execute performance/load tests with k6 or JMeter; monitor TTFT and latency.
• Develop AI-driven test automation and validate AI-generated code for security compliance.
• Validate AI/LLM features and end-to-end AI agent workflows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and build dashboards/reports.
• Lead automation initiatives and mentor engineers across teams.
