Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Irving, TX is seeking an Automation Tester to join our QA team. You will design, write, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and related tools, and work closely with developers to understand code structure and build robust test suites.

Must have hands-on experience with Java, Python, SQL, strong testing methodologies, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automation Tester, QA Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Design, write, and execute automated test scripts with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
Hands-on in Java, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
Work closely with software developers to understand code structure and design automated tests.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automated test scripts.
Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
Work with the development team to resolve bugs and verify fixes.
Set up and maintain test environments, including test data and configurations.
Ensure environments are kept up-to-date with latest builds and configurations.
