Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead industrial automation and building/power systems initiatives. You will define solution requirements, architect core strategies, and coordinate with SMEs to meet customer needs and industry standards.

Your responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and change control, developing project plans, and communicating status to clients while leading a cross‑functional team. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 8 years’ experience in design of industrial automation control systems, or building automation control systems, or power/energy automation control systems.
  • 3 years’ experience managing industrial, building, or power/energy automation projects including budget, scope, and schedule responsibilities.
  • Travel: Up to 30% nationwide.
  • Typical work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday; work may be performed at any time to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Architects and finalises the primary solution strategy.
  • Utilises internal and external subject‑matter‑experts to ensure the proposed solution is properly defined according to customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Defines and documents solution requirements which become the basis for executing and managing the project.
  • Develops the project estimate using internal and external resources to meet targets.
  • Leads the Technical Management of the Solution: develops detailed solution requirements, block diagrams, theory of operation, and verification test plan.
  • Scope Management: ensures the solution meets project requirements; identifies and executes change orders for out‑of‑scope items.
  • Financial Management (Budget): responsible for project profit and loss; ensures targets with data analysis; communicates status to the client.
  • Schedule Management: develops and maintains a project WBS and schedule; ensures resources are assigned and collaborates with leaders.
  • Quality Management: ensures requirements and customer satisfaction; conducts close‑out/review and applies best practices.
  • Develop and Execute the Project Plan: communication with clients/vendors, risk and procurement management, documentation management, and continuous improvement activities; participates in hiring referrals.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.

Experience: Eight (8) years’ experience in:

  • The design of industrial automation control systems; or
  • The design of building automation control systems; or
  • The design of power/energy automation control systems (multiple distributed energy resources preferred).

Three (3) years’ experience managing industrial, building, or power/energy automation projects including budget, scope, and schedule responsibilities.

Travel: Up to 30% nationwide.

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

    • Develops the solution block diagram(s).
    • Develops the solution theory of operation.
    • Develops the solution verification test plan.
  • Scope Management
    • Ensures the solution meets the project (technical and business) requirements.
    • Identifies and executes project change orders for all out‑of‑scope items.
  • Financial Management (Budget)
    • Responsible for project profit and loss.
    • Ensures project meets financial targets using various methods to gather and analyse data, taking appropriate action(s).
    • Communicates project status to the client.
  • Schedule Management
    • Develops and maintains a project WBS and schedule with tasks, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Ensures resources are assigned to tasks and collaborates with other department leaders/managers, holding them accountable to meet and maintain commitments.
  • Quality Management
    • Ensures the solution meets the project requirements and customer satisfaction.
    • Conducts project close‑out/success review and applies best practices forward.
  • Develop and Execute the Project Plan
    • Communication management with both internal and external (client, vendors, etc.) customers.
    • Risk management.
    • Procurement management.
    • Documentation management.
    • Assists with the development of the solutions' business best practices, policies, and procedures.
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
    • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
