Job summary

FFT Production Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Assembly & Mechanical Engineering team.

You will drive automotive automation projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the main liaison with customers, suppliers, and partners. The role requires 3+ years in automotive manufacturing project management, knowledge of automation technologies, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• PMP or similar certification preferred, but not required.
• 3+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or automation serving automotive clients.
• Knowledge of automation technologies and SAP.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and safety protocols.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track internal and external LOPs to drive resolution and maintain project momentum.
• Oversee cost planning, optimization, and tracking in SAP systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project partners; facilitate kickoffs, status updates, approvals, and change management meetings.
• Conduct in-depth risk analysis and implement preventative measures to address potential project challenges.
• Develop comprehensive project plans focusing on budget, timelines, and quality to ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables.

• Manage and track internal and external Lists of Open Points (LOPs) to drive resolution and maintain project momentum.

• Develop comprehensive project plans focusing on budget, timelines, and quality to ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or automation), Project Management, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications preferred, but not required
• Proven experience (3+ years) in project management within the manufacturing or automation industry, specifically serving automotive clients.
• Knowledge of automation technologies (robotics, PLCs, etc.)
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Suite
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (i.e. ISO 9001, safety protocols, etc.)
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
