Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role including team development and management.
• Proven ability to apply engineering principles to operational/design issues.
• Knowledge of installation/construction project scheduling.
• Project Management and Contract Administration skills; knowledge of codes/standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary designs and specifications for engineering and materials, and prepare project cost estimates.
• Conduct feasibility studies to ensure viable, cost‑effective designs.
• Define design criteria based on standards/codes and validate field work with as‑built drawings.
• Review engineering projects for accuracy and oversee execution with vendors/contractors.
• Coordinate schedules with plant personnel, vendors, and contractors to align with management and engineering teams.
• Lead equipment vendors to plan layouts, ensure utilities, and meet installation schedules.
• Review consultant work and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Maintain documentation including manuals, drawings, parts lists, and vendor contacts.
