Job summary

Apex Warehouse Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to drive automated material handling projects for warehousing and distribution. You will plan and execute projects from concept to completion, leading quotes, and coordinating ERP setups with vendors and installers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of material handling systems and controls concepts.
• Experience specifying MHE and related technologies.
• Proficiency with CAD drawings; AutoCAD a plus.
• Familiarity with WMS and process automation.
• Ability to work in a team environment with travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and implement MHE projects from concept to completion.
• Lead quoting process for potential automation projects.
• Oversee project setup in ERP, including vendor PO management.
• Maintain project documents and manage timelines and budgets.
• Develop detailed project plans for installations, software, and training.
• Lead commissioning, system acceptance, and client training.
• Maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
