Job summary

ABB is seeking an Automation Production Supervisor in Senatobia, MS to lead a highly automated assembly line, align schedules with demand, and drive continuous improvement. The role reports to Integrated Product Unit Manager and requires coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to maximize uptime.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 3+ years supervising automated operations, and proven Lean and PLC/automation expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years as a Supervisor/Team Lead in automated manufacturing operations
• Experience with high-volume automated assembly line operations
• Strong understanding of automation systems, PLC controls, and integrated equipment
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma tools
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and specifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee Automated Line Operations & Scheduling to meet volume and service targets
• Manage equipment & automation systems; coordinate upgrades and uptime
• Drive Continuous Improvement with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Handle Critical Issue Management; coordinate cross-functional teams to restore line functionality
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
