Job summary

Qualifications

• Some experience troubleshooting and repairing assembly equipment.
• Basic understanding of PLC-based machine logic.
• Ability to complete Millwright certificate.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.
• Maintain assembly machines and equipment per established PM schedules.
• Suggest improvements to PM schedules.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot repairs.
• Document issues and repairs using appropriate systems.

Skills

Knowledge of pneumatic circuits and systems

Knowledge of PLC-based equipment

Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, electric and mechanical equipment

Ability to select and install sensors and other machine components

Knowledge of and ability to use machining tools and equipment

Ability to read, understand and update electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings

Education

Minimum Grade 12
