Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or MS in a related field.
• Experience or coursework in automation, manufacturing, process development, or similar technical areas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with data analysis.
• Hands-on work with prototype/development equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical understanding of assigned automated manufacturing process functions.
• Define process requirements for material handling, sequencing, measurement, timing, tolerances, and interfaces.
• Support concept development by identifying risks and resolving technical unknowns through analysis and testing.
• Work with prototype and development equipment to troubleshoot, refine, and validate process performance.
• Translate process learning into clear specifications and requirements for internal teams and suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document key technical findings, risks, and assumptions.
