Job summary

You will design, prototype, test robotic and control systems, and guide plant technical teams to meet site goals while traveling 40-50% as needed. This is a hands-on engineering role focusing on automation efficiency and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, or related field.
• Experience in industrial automation, robotics, and control systems integration.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing or technical environment; 4 years extra in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA, and industrial networking.
• Familiarity with Lean, TPM and process optimization.
• Automation software/tools: Rockwell, Siemens, Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated systems, including robotics, PLCs, and control systems.
• Develop and maintain standards for automation architecture, programming, and documentation.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and quality teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for successful execution.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and cybersecurity compliance for automated systems.
• Support capital and productivity projects and provide technical resource when applicable.
