Job summary

Pacific Woodtech Corp in Burlington, WA seeks a Process Control Engineer to support manufacturing with PLCs, motion controls, and other computer-based control systems. You will collaborate with maintenance, design, and operations to implement, troubleshoot, and document control projects.

Ideal candidates have an AS degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Control Systems and 1–3 years of PLC programming experience, plus familiarity with Allen-Bradley tools and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

AS degree required or higher in electrical/industrial control.
1–3 years’ experience programming PLC systems.
Familiarity with Allen-Bradley tools and industrial networks.
Ability to read electrical schematics and document control systems.

Responsibilities

Work with maintenance teams to implement and startup new control systems and improvements.
Assist troubleshooting during startups and daily operations.
Provide and maintain system documentation for controls projects.
Communicate concerns and incidents to Maintenance Manager.
Identify poor process flow and drive resolution.
Provide training to operations staff on new processes and systems.
Other duties as assigned.
