Job summary
BENTELER Group in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Maintenance Professional to optimize production systems, troubleshoot automation issues, and implement PMs/LOTO. You will contribute to Lean programs and continuous improvement while maintaining safety and reliability across the plant.
The role requires strong automation knowledge, data interpretation, and experience with PLC/HMI systems, plus familiarity with SAP and power systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- AA/AS/BS or equivalent preferred.
- Solid understanding of automation equipment including PLC/HMI.
- Experience with data acquisition systems such as IBA.
- Siemens experience is a plus.
- Experience with industrial power systems a must.
- Familiar with signals like 4-20mA and 0-10V.
Responsibilities
- Optimize production systems during shift and off hours.
- Troubleshoot and act as first responder to automation issues.
- Develop and implement work procedures, PMs and LOTO.
- Participate in down days, outages, and special projects.
- Support 5S, Lean programs and continuous improvement.
- Lead root-cause analysis for automation issues.
- Participate in safety activities and goals.
- Contribute to maintaining a culture of professionalism.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
