Job summary
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls / PLC Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility in Mountain Home, AR. You will troubleshoot equipment, improve uptime, and support new installs while collaborating with Engineering and EHS teams.
You will program motors and PLC systems, perform advanced maintenance to boost reliability, and ensure safety and quality in a production environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with electrical, PLC, and automation troubleshooting.
- Ability to program motors and PLC systems.
- Strong safety awareness and aptitude for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, PLC, and automation-related equipment issues.
- Program new motors PLC systems.
- Support equipment upgrades, new installs, and programming changes.
- Perform advanced maintenance to improve uptime and equipment reliability.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering and EHS on CapEx projects.
- Complete work orders including electrical repairs, part replacements, and system upgrades.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Move between work areas as needed to support production demands.
- Operate independently while meeting productivity and quality standards.
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment and continuous improvement efforts.
