Actalent in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an entry-level Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician to support automated prescription processing and accurate dispensing. You will enter patient data, help resolve billing issues, and assist in order fulfillment in a high-volume, HIPAA-compliant environment.

The role offers training, hands-on experience with advanced automation, and a clear path for growth in pharmacy operations. This fully onsite contract position includes shifts with overnight options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician experience or certification preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to learn pharmacy systems, medical terminology, and insurance billing processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

Responsabilités

• Enter patient demographics, prescription data, and insurance information into processing systems.
• Process new patient registrations and maintain patient records.
• Resolve insurance billing issues, claim rejections, and third-party payments.
• Research and troubleshoot incomplete or inaccurate prescription information.
• Operate equipment to sort, count, label, package, and prepare medications for shipment.
• Monitor workflow and inventory movement across fulfillment stages.
• Escalate clinical questions to licensed pharmacists as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safe, organized work environment.
