Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of automation operation experience preferred, not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to perform in a medium to fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
• Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
• Works under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional area.
• Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
• Observes while the machine is being repaired by a Technician.
• Observes and follows all safety protocols.
• Learns the use of precision measuring tools.
• Perform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplace.
• Performs all job responsibilities while demonstrating ACE Values: Accountability by owning quality and production results, Collaboration by working effectively with team members and support groups, and Empowerment by taking initiative to solve problems and improve process.
