Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a maintenance mechanic to perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance, following diagrams, reading manuals, and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on machinery, diagnosing automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, and installing or calibrating PLCs,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education preferred.
• Completion of apprenticeship in maintenance millwrighting or equivalent training.
• Strong automation, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic system skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts; install and calibrate PLCs, sensors, actuators.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and other record-keeping tools.
• Collaborate with production to address maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout and arc flash safety.
• Stay updated on automation technology and participate in continuous improvement.
