Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in California to join the Operations Maintenance Team. You will repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, install and service automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

Successful candidates will possess 2+ years in MHE repair, strong skills in electrical/electronic principles, and experience with CMMS and blueprint reading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience repairing MHE or automated conveyor systems.
• 2+ years' experience with predictive and preventive maintenance.
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 1+ years knowledge of electrical/electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE and conveyors.
• Create, assign, and close work orders with labor hours and parts data.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians and communicate across facilities.
