Job summary

Stolle Machinery Co, LLC in Sidney, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide complete engineering packages for automated machinery, die sets and related press equipment. Accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency are essential.

The role includes designing automated machinery and tooling, producing assembly and detail drawings, and reviewing work for accuracy. You will construct BOMs through ERP/PDM, input engineered components for purchasing, and support sales, service, manufacturing and QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years in machine design.
• 2D and 3D CAD proficiency (Autocad and Solidworks).
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PDM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Design of automated machinery and tooling.
• Produce complete assembly and detail drawings.
• Review/Check engineering work for completeness and accuracy.
• Construct Bills of Materials (BOMs) through ERP and/or PDM systems.
• Input and release engineered components and assemblies to purchasing/planning via ERP software.
• Assist in creation and updates of machine manuals.
