Job summary
Nordic Naturals is seeking a Manufacturing and Automation Engineer to drive innovation, operational excellence, and efficiency across its production and packaging operations. You will evaluate, design, implement, and optimize automated systems for softgel, encapsulation, liquid filling, gummies, and bottling processes.
The role focuses on increasing throughput, improving OEE, reducing waste, and leading capital projects while ensuring safe, reliable operations and supporting future capacity
Qualifications
- Experience designing and optimizing automated manufacturing systems.
- Proven track record in improving throughput and OEE.
- Ability to lead capital projects and equipment installations.
- Strong troubleshooting and data-driven process improvement skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead automation initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and system integrators for equipment selection and qualification.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Product Development and Engineering teams.
- Develop SOPs, WIs, and maintenance documentation to standardize operations.
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and OEE tracking to boost line reliability and uptime.
