Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations seeks a Maintenance Technician for its Moen Distribution Center in the United States. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair automated machinery, conveyors, and robotics to ensure reliable operation.

You will perform preventative maintenance, document activities, and support safety and process improvements. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, troubleshoot using diagnostic tools, and help train newer technicians while ensuring compliance with safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in highly automated environments such as distribution centers or factories.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; able to read manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Proficient in diagnosing complex machinery including conveyors, robotics, PLCs, and automated storage systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance practices and routine inspections/repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with time constraints.
• Attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on automated machinery and conveyors to ensure reliable operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance including lubrication, calibration, and parts replacement to extend equipment lifespan.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify root causes, implementing timely solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize automated systems and drive process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, equipment logs, and inventory records.
• Operate within CMMS to add PM tasks and manage spare parts.
