Job summary
ManpowerGroup is seeking an Automation Maintenance Tech to join a team focused on innovative food equipment solutions in Plano, TX. You will support automation and electrical systems for cutting-edge kitchen equipment and play a key role in keeping systems reliable through hands-on troubleshooting and proactive maintenance.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in automation or electrical troubleshooting, strong wiring skills, and a proactive mindset, with basic PLC knowledge considered a plus.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in automation/machinery maintenance or electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong electrical knowledge and hands-on wiring skills (sensors, relays, motors).
- Ability to wire and install electrical devices.
- Basic PLC knowledge is a plus.
- Hands-on, proactive, and interested in prototyping and testing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support builds, installs, and full-system troubleshooting of automated kitchen equipment.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting including wiring faults, sensors, I/O, and power distribution.
- Execute test runs and collect data to ensure system functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, and develop solutions to improve system reliability.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
