Job summary

Salcomp Manufacturing USA Corp. is seeking an Automation Technician in Arlington, TX to support automated manufacturing equipment and maintain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and assist engineers to ensure production efficiency and equipment reliability. Qualifications include a high school diploma or technical training with 1–3 years of automation experience, hands-on repair skills, and the ability to read basic drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school training with 1–3 years of automation/equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience maintaining or repairing automated production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting on automated production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Support installation, setup, calibration, and testing of automation equipment and related tooling.
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
• Assist automation engineers with equipment upgrades, optimization, and modification projects.
• Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, and corrective actions in maintenance logs or system records.
• Support root cause analysis for automation-related failures and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and provide feedback to improve production stability and operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures, ESD controls, and facility protocols when working with manufacturing equipment.
