Job summary

NEMERA in Buffalo Grove, Illinois is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs on injection molding equipment and other machinery. Qualifications

• 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position.
• Strong math, reading and communication skills required.
• Experience with injection molding required.
• Ability to work independently from verbal and/or written instructions required.
• Must have strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, electrical or mechanical malfunction.
• Control downtime by scheduling repairs with the Maintenance Manager.
• Input maintenance work orders into the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP).
• Ensure the work is completed with technical excellence.
