Job summary
Sage V Foods is seeking an experienced Automation Technician for our Little Rock, AR plant. You will maintain and repair automated processing and packaging systems, monitor daily production automation, and perform preventive maintenance to keep operations efficient and compliant.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve control issues, support new equipment installations, and document maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Hands-on automation and controls experience in food manufacturing or similar industry.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical/pneumatic systems.
- Strong problem-solving, safety focus, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated processing and packaging systems.
- Monitor and support daily production automation for continuous operation.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on automation equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues.
- Support installation and commissioning of new automated equipment and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist automation projects.
- Follow OSHA, food safety, and operational standards; ensure safety and reliability.
