Job summary

Performance Food Group in Missouri seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain material handling equipment in our warehouses, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations on conveyors, lifts, and controls, and you’ll document conditions and actions taken.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, problem solving, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; trade/technical degree preferred.
• 6+ months maintenance/repair experience or related area.
• Demonstrated electrical troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Able to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork; perform daily safety checks.
• Maintain, repair, and install equipment per processes and standards.
• Manage MHE; adjust and modify equipment as needed; follow preventive schedules.
• Keep maintenance area clean; finalize reports and paperwork at shift end.
• Participate in business planning and budgeting for functional areas.
